Why we do what we do?

Learning to become a sonographer isn’t quick or easy. There’s a lot of hard work, a lot of study to be done and a lot of fine motors skills to learn along the way. So why do we do it? The life of a sonographer

The first step of becoming a sonographer is to decide if it’s for you. Most sonographers love their job but its certainly not for everyone. Dark rooms, a distinct lack of fresh air or sunlight for hours on end. And do you really want to spend your life around patients all day long? But on the other hand to will learn invaluable skills that help to save people’s life and the money isn’t too bad either. But only you can decide. So here’s a few videos to give you a brief insight into the life of a sonographer.

So, if you’re sure you want be become a sonographer, how do you do it?

Well this depends on where you live and how you’d like to study. Some areas do offer online courses but you will still need some degree of clinical study in order to learn the practical skills required and routes vary depending on where you  want to study.
